Penn Stater Elected to Lead PA College Republicans

Fresh off his victory as an off-campus representative, Anthony Christina won another important election on Saturday. However, Christina will have to make decisions more important than sunglasses and Donut Day. During its annual convention, the Pennsylvania Federation of College Republicans voted to name Christina as its Chairman for 2012-2013. As a result, a Penn Stater other than Rick Santorum will have a significant voice to address college students across the commonwealth for the most important election since the last one.

Maggie Lucas Earns AP All-America Honorable Mention Accolades

Maggie Lucas, a Penn State Lady Lions guard, was awarded AP All-America honorable mention commendations for her impress sophomore season. Lucas averaged 19.5 points on 42.9 percent shooting this year along with 4.7 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game.

PSU Fencer Aleks Ochocki Grabs His Second NCAA Championship

It has all come full circle for Aleks Ochocki, the Clark, N.J. native who won the NCAA championship in saber his freshman year. This past weekend, after already being named an All-American for the fourth consecutive season, Ochocki defeated Valentin Staller of Harvard 15-11 in the gold medal match, finishing his final year at Penn State with a second NCAA championship victory.

Pennharmonics To Sing For International Championship

The seventeen members of The Pennharmonics, who have dubbed themselves Penn State's premiere co-ed a cappella group, lived up to that description this weekend, winning the Varsity Vocals International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella regional semifinals. They will go on to represent the mid-Atlantic in the international finals on April 28, held in New York City's "The Town Hall", a performance space located in midtown Manhattan.

Rollin’ Like A Big Shot On The New CATA Buses

So, my initial plan was to hop on one of these new CATA buses, because as per our last post, they cost a whopping $5 million so I figured these must be some pretty bougie rides. However, when I waited at the White Loop (aka Whoop) stop yesterday for about 30 minutes, three regular lowbrow buses rolled by, so I said f*ck this, I'm just gonna talk about what I would expect a $450,000 bus would include.
