This season, the Penn State men's soccer team has relied on junior Corey Hertzog to score goals. This stayed true in the NCAA Tournament second round game against Old Dominion, as he led Penn State to victory with three goals and an assist.

For most of the third quarter, Penn State's "White Out at the White House" campaign in Washington D.C. wasn't doing too much to actually help on the field. Up only 17-14 at the half against Indiana, a team without a win in the Big Ten, the Lions needed a big play to change the momentum of the game.

After becoming undone in the second half against Ohio State last weekend, Penn State looks to rebound against a struggling Indiana team, which was demolished 83-20 last weekend in Wisconsin.

Onward State wishes you a very enjoyable Thanksgiving Break.
Meet up with those high school friends that you still talk to. Awkwardly run in to those you don't. Deal with living with your parents after a few months of independence. Do that work professors felt necessary to assign (Everyone knows Christmas break is the only true break).
Onward Staters are real people too, and will be taking full advantage of their time away from State College. As a result, the blog won't be updated as regularly over the next week. We are very thankful for your readership and support these past few months (and two years), and we look forward to coming back strong after break.

The Penn State Lady Lions needed a big comeback and overtime to beat Oakland on Thursday night. Zhaque Gray and Ariel Edwards both had 16 points to help the Lady Lions overcome a 14-point deficit.
