After being swept by Ohio State last weekend, Penn State hockey hosts Michigan in a series that has drastic tournament implications.

Penn State's last time on the Bryce Jordan Center floor this season came to a bittersweet end on Senior Night. D.J. Newbill and Ross Travis were honored prior to the game and led the way for the Nittany Lions with 17 and 14 points respectively.

Following in teammate Andrew Wolverton's footsteps, Penn State men's soccer forward Mike Minutillo will become the second Nittany Lion this year to join the professional ranks, signing a contract with 07 Vestur of the Faroe Islands' Premier League.
Even with four games left to play, Penn State hockey has already beaten most of its Division I program records.

In late 2012, after losing his mother and basketball mentor, D.J. Newbill was looking for a family. He soon found one at Penn State, highlighted by his relationship with coach Pat Chambers, and both his on and off-court development.

As we all know, the weather around these parts needs to be really, really bad for Penn State to cancel class. Such was the case yesterday, but the Ohio State basketball team decided to throw caution to the sleet and rough the Pennsylvania wilderness to make its Wednesday game anyway. Bad move.
