The vigil will be held at 7 p.m. at the Allen Street Gates. It is being organized by the Penn State Student Black Caucus and six other community organizations, according to a Facebook event.
Voodoo launched a franchise group in 2018, which allows those outside the company to open pubs beyond its home base in Western Pennsylvania.
"Our goal and our commitment to the community is to ensure that we have an open, honest, and independent investigation to thoroughly understand what did transpire today."
The scene is secure and there is no threat to the area, police said.
The first 50 customers on Saturday will get a free bowl voucher for their next visit and raffles, samples, and giveaways will be going on throughout the day.
Lead singer Jason O will kick off the evening with a soothing acoustic hour, and the entire band will host a meet-and-greet after rocking the State Theatre on March 23.
