A man died after falling from the sixth floor of the University Gateway apartment building on College Ave. last night around 1 a.m. The street was shutdown for nearly three hours as police and medical personnel investigated. The body, wrapped in a white sheet, remained several feet from the sidewalk for nearly three hours before being taken away in an ambulance.

According to multiple reports, James Sharer, a 19-year-old Penn State student, has been charged with criminal trespassing following an incident early Sunday morning. After being discovered, Sharer refused to leave the premises despite repeated attempts from the resident, who then fired two warning shots causing Sharer to run from the home where he was found by police.
