The reason for the closure is currently unclear.
Kokoro offers a wide variety of Japanese cuisine but specializes in ramen noodle bowls and intends to "make ramen with Kokoro (heart)."
Lock Boutique, which moved from Bellefonte to State College, is open 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
The free lecture will begin at 7 p.m. on Monday, January 23, at the State Theatre.
Brothers Bar & Grill may open in the future on Allen Street, pending a liquor license transfer.
The Harlem-based ensemble is heading to State College for a series of free events beginning on Tuesday, January 17.
