
Frank Warren of PostSecret came to Penn State to share some secrets that he has received in his mailbox, and to invite the community to share some of their own.

As part of the Student Programming Association's Distinguished Speaker series, Grammy-winning artist John Legend will speak and perform at Eisenhower Auditorium on Monday, January 14.

It's December, and that means we'll all be inundated with Christmas music soon enough. For this week's Music Monday, the Onward State staff mixed things up a bit. Instead of focusing on five songs, this week we're focusing on a large mix of songs for your upcoming ugly Christmas sweater parties, and to help get everybody into the holiday spirit. Don't be a Grinch -- break out the eggnog, and put some cheer in your life!

The Student Programming Association has been bringing Penn State great entertainment all semester long, and this morning, they announced another can't miss show will be coming to the HUB. Next Friday, December 7, at 10 p.m. in Alumni Hall, mash-up duo The White Panda and Pennsylvania-bred rapper Asher Roth will be performing. The event, sponsored by SPA LateNight, will be free and ticketless. Students with a valid PSU student ID will be admitted on a first come, first serve basis.

Heritage Hall was the spot for Penn State students who wanted to see a free show headlined by Malibu-based rapper, Shwayze, Wednesday night. But if you missed the show, check out Onward State's recap and slideshow.

March is a long way off, and you're liable to forget about getting tickets to the Lady Gaga concert in that long space of time. But luckily for you, tickets go on sale Friday (or Thursday if you're a student), so you can get them while the date is fresh in your mind.
