
Indie-punk outfit Crocodiles are coming to State College. The show at Chronic Town on September 30th -- presented by Penn State’s Students Organizing the Multiple Arts (SOMA) and local music promoter Roustabout -- will feature the San Diego-based Crocodiles, State College local rockers Flashback Forward (who made moves over the summer), and the little-known Philly indie band Swiss Alps.

Students have already begun planning for next year's annual Movin' On festival, set to take place April 26. The first step that the student body can be a part of is an online survey, which can be found here. The survey includes a comments box to specify a desired headliner, and 16 music genres to rank in order of preference.

On Wednesday, October 3, the Bryce Jordan Center will be alive with the sounds of the truth's first-ever college music tour. The truth campaign will be bringing Cobra Starship and Outasight to the BJC for a free show starting at 7 p.m.

Penn State's Student Programming Association announced this morning that the Punk/Emo band Taking Back Sunday will play at Penn State's Homecoming week on Sunday, September 30th at 7 p.m. in Rec Hall. Tickets are $4.99 for students and $15 for non-students and will go on sale in the HUB on Monday, September 17.
