From March 31st to April 4th, the State Theatre will be screening “The Pact”, a romantic comedy brought to you (written, produced, and directed) by Matt Toronto, a Penn State professor and local filmmaker. Learn more about the film after the jump.

The entertainment scene in State College is heating up this spring, and this weekend will be no exception. Penn State's sixth annual Arts Crawl is set to take place this Friday night on campus, featuring a multitude of musical performances and visual arts displays.

The Penn State Electronic Dance Music Club (EDMC) has put together a killer show Monday night in Alumni Hall, featuring Estonian electro house/dubstep producer Mord Fustang. Sure, the name is cheesy, but Mord is gaining a lot of recognition in the electronic dance music world. He played Ultra Music Festival in Miami this weekend and is making his way to State College for "BassDROP in the Valley".

Loni Love, former electrical engineer turned stand-up comedian, will perform in Alumni Hall Tuesday, April 3 at 8:00pm. Love was named one of the "Top 10 Comics to Watch" by Variety and Comedy Central. Campus Activity Magazine named her "Hot Comic" in 2009.

Arts Crawl is this weekend and it looks like an exciting one. Ramona Falls is headlining, and plenty of local bands will be rocking out around the arts buildings on campus. In fact, this year there's even going to be a few DJs performing. But until then, you might need some new jams to occupy your mind. We offer this set to help you out. This week's suggestions come from Shawn Christ, Meghin Moore, Sam Cooper and a pair from Matthew D'Ippolito.

Stop, turn, take a look around! At all the lights and sounds! Alumni Hall shook last night as Yellowcard massacred the stage with their loud, funky, punk rock sounds. And yes, there was a bunch of bright lights, too.
