In his Penn State debut, redshirt freshman receiver KJ Hamler provided a pivotal kickoff return and scored the game-tying touchdown.
"He handled himself really well. He was able to come in and answer some questions that a lot of people had."
KJ Hamler's touchdown tied the game with 42 seconds left, then Miles Sanders provided the winning 4-yard score in overtime.
The Nittany Lions will open their season at 3:30 p.m. against Appalachian State.
