According to the recently released Greek life Score Card on the Interfraternity Council chapters, AXP lost recognition on July 17 for one year for hazing. The chapter was charged last week with furnishing alcohol to minors on September 28.
Penn State finally released its long-promised Greek life Score Cards this afternoon online, giving information about each chapter's membership, academic performance, governing council conduct, and State College Borough points.
"We want to show how much Penn State can offer you in programs and initiatives to improve your overall mental, physical, and emotional health."
Pi Chis were previously required to disaffiliate from their respective chapters during recruitment to avoid imposing their bias on the new members.
The Office of Student Conduct is currently investigating Delta Tau Delta fraternity's involvement in the incident which left the 18-year old hospitalized after he was found unconscious in Calder Way.
The alumni corporation for the now defunct Penn State chapter of Beta Theta Pi was met with some criticism when it opened the house, where Timothy Piazza suffered fatal injuries, for fraternity alumni to pay to stay in for football weekends this season.
