
These observation recaps tend to be a lot tougher to write after a loss. Add the fact that it was Indiana, and not only a loss but an ass kicking, and well, yeah, it was a pretty miserable, rainy day in Bloomington.

But, don’t sweat, I’ll give you the lowdown on one Penn State’s newest (and coolest!) initiatives that you should definitely keep a watch for: The GREEN Program.

Beside the rough football game on Saturday, the rest of Penn State’s sports had a good weekend. Men’s Soccer had a huge win defeating defending national champion Indiana, Field Hockey continued their win streak and Women’s volleyball fought hard for the win.

It's certainly tough to stay positive after a 42-24 loss on Saturday to the Indiana Hoosiers, a team that Penn State had a 16-0 record against entering Saturday, but this isn't the first time that the Nittany Lions have faced this type of adversity.

Penn State lost to Indiana for the first time on Saturday, falling by a score of 44-24 in Bloomington, Indiana. There should be credit given to Indiana and their Coach, Kevin Wilson, for having a great game plan and executing it to perfection. However, this loss revealed more about Bill O'Brien's team than it did about Wilson's. Here’s what we can take away from Saturday's game.
