Penn State Board Of Trustees Tables $100 Million Commonwealth Campus Residence Hall Project

The Board of Trustees, led by a handful of alumni-appointed trustees, argued to table the plans for the addition of residence halls to Penn State Commonwealth campuses at Abington and Brandywine. There will likely be a special meeting in December to focus on this project and work to have it completed by the proposed 2017 move-in.

The litigation to get the documents that shaped Louis Freeh's much maligned report into the hands of Penn State's alumni trustees appears to now be over. While the Board was meeting in committee today at the Penn Stater, a Centre County judge ruled against Penn State and granted the request of seven alumni trustees to have access to all the Freeh report source files.
