To celebrate National Coming Out Day, which was on October 11, Penn State is hosting an entire Coming Out Week. The event, which runs from October 12 to October 15, is an annual event to raise awareness and support for the LGBTQA community.
Only two students out of nearly 40,000 are crowned Homecoming royalty each year. During halftime on Saturday, Serge Gaba and Abby Renko were named Penn State Homecoming King and Queen in front of a packed Beaver Stadium.
