
The Department of Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese is taking a class of students to Cuba this May through its new course, SPAN 497A: Cuba and José Martí.

Dr. Charles Anderson, assistant professor of biology in Penn State's Eberly College of Science, has been innovating farming for the future. Anderson and his team have been working on a project called "Fast Farming: Feeding a Hot, Dry World," in light of climate change worries.

Penn State has again been included among the U.S. Department of State's list of colleges and universities producing the most 2014-15 Fulbright students, boasting 13 talented scholars.

Penn State is obviously known as the Nittany Lions territory, but University Park is also home to another Big Ten mascot -- the Buckeye.
