
The recent kingmakers of the Penn State Board of Trustees announced its three endorsements this morning, with little surprise. Penn Staters for Responsible Stewardship will support Alice Pope, Bob Jubelrirer, and Al Lord after a closed primary process between six candidates.

Jay Paterno's entry into statewide politics could be over before it gets started. At least, it will be if Harrisburg City Councilman and Lieutenant Governor candidate Brad Koplinski has anything to say about it.

The latest U.S. News & World Report rankings are out, and several Penn State programs are on the rise. The leading authority in educational rankings put 14 Penn State graduate programs among the top 10 in the country, and the Penn State Dickinson Law School also saw a 13 point jump from last year.

Longtime trustee and 1959 Penn State graduate resigned from the Board of Trustees during today's meeting, citing wrong decisions and failed leadership over the last two years from himself and his colleagues.
