R&B singer and former Fugees member Ms. Lauryn Hill will stop by the Bryce Jordan Center on Sunday, May 4, 2014 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are currently listed from $47.50 to $85 and will be going on sale this Thursday, March 20, 2014 at 10 a.m.
The football team opened up its spring practice schedule this afternoon at Holuba Hall, giving Franklin and his staff their first chance to see the players in action outside of the film room. While addressing the media on Monday afternoon, Franklin expressed excitement for the coming months, looking forward to implementing his system and working with the roster.
Coach Patrick Chambers met with the media Monday to discuss CBI first-round opponent Hampton. Said Chambers, "we’re approaching this like we’re in the NCAA tournament."
Our condolences go out to the family and friends of Penn State senior and Schreyer Scholar Peter Breen, who passed away last week while on vacation in Italy. Dean Christian Brady confirmed the death in an email to the Schreyer community this afternoon.
The drama has been never ending for the Penn State football team, from the final minutes in Wisconsin three months ago until now, the first day of spring practice. Today marks another first in the Franklin Era -- the first time he and his staff will get to see their players in full pads.
Coach Patrick Chambers, who has proven to be magnanimous over the years, is again opening his wallet, paying for student tickets to Wednesday's first-round College Basketball Invitational game against Hampton. All students have to do is show their PSU ID at Gate A, and they're in for the 7 p.m. contest.
