We asked about your bad internships, and you responded with some pretty rough-sounding experiences. That being said, there was one experience that transcended the others in pure terribleness.
Meet Kaitlyn, the Penn State student who interned for three months at a chicken farm that houses six million hens in Grand Rapids, Michigan. (She requested that we change her name for this post.)
Kaitlyn, an animal science major set to graduate in 2015, worked at the farm from 6 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. every day. One of her main tasks was to check cages for dead birds, in addition to cleaning walls and dusting lights.

This just in: NASA will partner with the Lunar Lion team as a part of Penn State's first Space Act Agreement (SAA) with the space agency.

Penn State Law's Family Law Clinic will be hosting a domestic violence awareness event on October 2 featuring the film called "Telling Amy's Story," followed by a discussion panel with experts from the field.

Spend all summer getting coffee for a terrible boss? Doing mind-numbing work? Working late into the night? We're looking to find the students with the worst internship experiences.

For a unique look into Penn State's history, you can join the Lion Ambassadors for their annual "Lantern Tours," which will take place on Friday, September 13th at Old Main from 7-9 p.m. The theme this year is "Illuminate Old State."

A group of Penn State undergrads were able to take home first place at a design competition last week after designing a badass helicopter, called "Griffin". The AHS International Student Design Competition is a yearly event that tasks students with designing a vertical lift aircraft that meets certain requirements. This year, students were given the challenge of designing an helicopter that could fly during natural disasters. The design needed to be able to carry large payloads as well as reach the destination in the timely manner.
