Board of Trustees Meet, Masser Elected Chair

The Penn State Board of Trustees met earlier this afternoon at the Penn Stater Conference Center as part of its bimonthly meeting. A number of motions were voted on, including the election of the new Board of Trustees chair and vice chair, won by Keith Masser and Stephanie Deviney, respectively.

NCAA Agrees to Injunction on PSU Fine Money

State Senator Jake Corman announced today that the NCAA has agreed to not disperse any of the $12 million already paid by Penn State as part of the NCAA sanctions. Corman is suing the NCAA to keep all of the fine money inside Pennsylvania, which is entirely separate from Governor Corbett's lawsuit to just throwout the sanctions.
