Through all the speeches from former players and alumni, there was one that stood out above the rest. Phil Knight never went to Penn State. It's unclear if he had ever been to State College before. But aside from Jay Paterno, Kinght's ten minute eulogy of Joe Paterno was the one that touched the heart of every Penn Stater who was lucky enough to watch the "Memorial for Joe" event Thursday afternoon at the Bryce Jordan Center.

With Joe Paterno's passing has come a truly astounding amount of words, images, and videos honoring a man that deserves such a goodbye. One Penn State alumnus, with a little help from his friends, has found a way to honor JoePa while helping THON at the same time.

As was mentioned yesterday, it's a testament to the world we live in when watching a Ticketmaster loading page is the most nerve-racking experience of the day. At approximately 10: 01 a.m. on Tuesday morning, anxiety turned to disappointment as "Your Wait Time is Less than One Minute" transitioned to "Sorry No Matches Were Found."

Thousands in the Penn State community lined up along College Avenue and Curtain Road to view the funeral procession of former Penn State Football Coach Joseph Paterno, who passed away on January 22, 2012, ending his fight with lung cancer. He was 85 years old. After the jump are images from today's procession.

The Westboro Baptist Church plans to picket Joe Paterno's funeral today, but it's best to just ignore them. Check out some peaceful counter protests on campus after the jump.

Tuesday afternoon, the PSU faculty senate voted against the motion of “no confidence” aimed towards the Board of Trustees. By a wide margin, 128 senate members voted against the measure while 58 voted yes.
