Penn State is involving fans in the 2020 football season through social media and fan cutouts.
Jones said Monday's announcement could include information regarding course selection, the academic calendar, and spring break.
"Delaying or dodging testing does not allow for proper treatment for you — and it also puts your friends and family at risk because contact tracing cannot be accomplished."
The event will be livestreamed at 2 p.m. on Sunday, October 4.
Pangborn served at Penn State for more than 40 years.
