Following a short recess, Joe Amendola played another defense angle, as he tried to prove that some of the accusers are in it for money.

Day six of the Jerry Sandusky trial got underway with Joe Amendola calling a slew of character witnesses to testify, asking them only a few brief questions about Sandusky's historically stellar reputation.

The afternoon of day five got started with an assortment of short testimonies from various people who have interacted with Jerry Sandusky over the last couple decades.

The prosecution called their final witness this morning, as Victim 9's mother took the stand. Sandusky approached Victim 9's mother during a Second Mile camp and said that he was interested in "hanging out" with Victim 9 outside of the camp. "I thought it was great. It was Jerry Sandusky. He's a very important person," she said.

After a three day recess, court resumed Monday morning in Bellefonte. Proceedings began with arguments from both sides, after the defense asked for most of the 52 charges to be dropped, citing lack of evidence after hearing from all of the known alleged victims.

It took less than a week for the prosecution to present its case to the Centre County jury. On Monday, Joe Amendola and the rest of his defense team are expected to begin the play of their legal hand.
