
Penn State's budget is notoriously clandestine, but Provost Nick Jones made the concept of administrative creep the focus of his presentation to the Board of Trustees this afternoon in Hershey.

The Penn State Board of Trustees committee on finance, business and capital planning tentatively approved an increase to the university’s room and board costs on Thursday. If the full board also approves the proposal on Friday, the average cost of room and board will increase by 3.89 percent.
