It took a few weeks to reach the end of the UPUA Elections Code saga, but the end finally came on Wednesday night as Policy 06-09 passed through the general assembly by a vote of 31-2.

Members of the Black Leadership Union and numerous others staged a die-in at the steps of Old Main today to protest a St. Louis County grand jury’s choice not to indict officer Darren Wilson.

At 12:30 p.m. today, a group of students gathered in the HUB to protest the non-indictment of Darren Wilson, the police officer who shot and killed Michael Brown in Ferguson, Mo. in August. The protest was a “die-in,” modeled after the famous sit-ins of the civil rights movement.

Each semester, every student enrolled at Penn State University Park must pay a $120 Facility Fee. These fees are pooled together and used on improvements and expansions to non-academic, recreational, and multi-use space for students. The usage of the fee is decided by the Facilities Fee Advisory Committee (FFAC), and it wants your input!

In an unwelcome and abrupt maneuver, Snapchat has discontinued its popular Campus Story. The removal is unfortunate to most students, but luckily, it may only be temporary.
