
The University Park Undergraduate Association is looking into the idea of a small sustainability fee that will be paid along with tuition, an addition to already existing fees such as the student activity fee, facilities fee, and technology fee.

One Penn State alumnus has started something quite revolutionary -- a company that manufactures and sells bikes made from 100 percent recyclable materials. Bryce Edmonds, a 1990 graduate in English Literature, started the Los Angeles based company "ReCycle" last summer, which uses eco-friendly aluminum to make the bicycles completely in America.

That's why Dalhousie University in Halifax, Canada has spearheaded the idea of a "puppy room" during its finals week.
