THON announced for the second time this year that a canning weekend is cancelled. Recent incidents and complaints vocalized after the first canning weekend bring to light the need for new policies for the organization.
THON's third canning weekend was cancelled indefinitely today, as announced in a letter to the THON community by 2016 Executive Director Katie Mailey. Originally scheduled for Nov. 13-15, it is the second of three canning weekends to be canceled in the aftermath of Tally Sepot's death.
