Thousands of people have been tweeting about THON since Friday afternoon. Earlier this weekend, #THON13 even trended in the United States for a short time. Most recently though, #THON13 began trending in an entirely different hemisphere. Yes, we're talking about Hong Kong.

They say you haven't made it until someone makes a Twitter account about you. And so @TheTHONLine was born. It was only a matter of time, I suppose.

We know there's a long wait to get in line to the Bryce Jordan Center, but your trip doesn't have to be a boring wait in the cold. Here are some things you could try to pass the time.

For the lonesome souls standing out in the cold waiting to get into the Bryce Jordan Center, it is very easy to place the blame on the Rules & Regulations committees for refusing to let anymore people in. But it is not that simple of an explanation.

Earlier today, Penn State grad Ariela Rossberg held her Read FTK! event at Webster’s to a small crowd of people, comprised of children at heart.

Unless you've been living under a rock for the past day and a half, you know that capacity for THON has been an issue this year. This afternoon, the BJC reached capacity and stopped letting spectators in. A line started forming at Gate A (the one facing University Dr. and Curtin Rd.), and within a half hour reached around the side of the building and almost to Beaver Stadium. That's where it was the last time I checked, about an hour ago. One can only assume that the line has been steadily increasing since.
