Punny Dancer Shirts at THON 2013

When filling out information as a dancer before THON, one question that is asked is, "What do you want on the back of your shirt?"

Dancer Update: Joel Kreider, Hour 3

Hailing from Lancaster, PA, senior Joel Kreider earned his spot on the floor as an Independent Dancer. Only three hours into THON, Joel found it difficult to put his recent experiences into words. Expression became more difficult as Charles Millard approached the table we were standing at, stopping for a picture and a quick exchange. Here's what Joel had to say:

Bump! Bump! Goes 7 Hump Wump

"Kicking this charity into high gear with some rock n' rock," 7 Hump Wump paid homage to the alternative scene at THON 2013 with crunchy guitar riffs, raspy vocals and drums that rattled the rafters on par with the hoards of eccentric THONers.

Director of Four Diamonds Fund Sings Anthem

Suzanne Graney is the Director of the Four Diamonds Fund. She also sang the national anthem at the 2011 and 2012 THON events. She loves her job very much, and sat down with Onward State for a brief interview during the first day of THON.

Staying active on social media while also in attendance at the Bryce Jordan Center is a large component of THON 2013, and a new Twitter account, @THONcrowdFTK, is taken full advantage of the obsession.

Battle of the Cut Out Letters

Looking up at the stands from the floor, the cut out letters are EVERYWHERE. Org names, greek letters, sports teams, branch campuses-- everybody is represented. Sadly, all signs were not created equally. So, who wore it best and who came up short?
