A report released last week says Penn State is among the top higher education institutions with email addresses and passwords being sold and shared on the Dark Web.
The vigil will also include a balloon launch and McGruff the Crime Dog will be present for photos.
Sophomore defender Chris Sabia and freshman goalie Colby Kneese combined to take home three of the four Big Ten awards for the week after helping Penn State rise to the No. 1 ranking following the win over No. 5 Ohio State 9-4 on Sunday.
This ranks the university up one spot from last year, when Penn State was ranked No. 32.
Penn State's captains for the 2017 season were named last week -- five months ahead of when the Nittany Lions announced their trio of leaders for last season.
