Projected Big Ten Television Deal A Welcome Sight For Penn State Athletics

According to the Journal & Courier which filed an open records request, 12 of the 14 schools in the Big Ten are projected to receive $44.5 million from the conference's broadcast distribution plans in 2017-18. That figure is significantly greater than the current distribution of $27 million handed out to schools this past year.

Urschel and Enriquez Added to Heister Street Mural

Michael Pilato's famous mural on Heister St. has some new editions. Pilato unveiled the addition of former Penn State football player and Math Whiz John Urschel and Jasmin Enriquez, a recent graduate who started Only With Consent, a sexual violence awareness organization during the First Annual Herb Hand Pizza Crawl. The two were added to the Inspiration Mural as a surprise stop during the tour, which benefitted Uplifting Athletes and RAINN, the Rape, Abuse, and Incest National Network. The mural already features Kelsey Hirsch, the founder of Bands4RAINN, who raised more than $10,000 for the organization following Jerry Sandusky's arrest.
