Riley Gaines addressed a crowd of about 150 students and community members Tuesday on HUB Lawn for "X/X Day," a social media movement to recognize biological females.
Asman's award is her second Big Ten recognition of the season.
Gaines is slated to speak on campus this afternoon.
The Nittany Lions are 3-1 against the Yellow Jackets but haven't faced the team since November 2016.
