As a result of a racially insensitive photo posted by the Penn State chapter of the Chi Omega sorority, the Governing Council of Chi Omega has placed the chapter on probation, effective immediately. Here's a statement taken from the group's Facebook page
A group of approximately 75 students of all different ethnic and cultural backgrounds filed into last night's UPUA meeting to speak about the Chi Omega racially insensitive photo, which has become national news over the past two days.
