Attorney General Linda Kelly: “Justice Was Served”

Pennsylvania Attorney General Linda Kelly released a statement yesterday following Jerry Sandusky's sentencing announcement. In the statement, she congratulated her own office, and stood up for Governor Tom Corbett, who has often been criticized for taking too long to arrest and prosecute Sandusky when he was the Attorney General.

Sara Ganim Stresses 5 Lessons At Foster Conference

Penn State alumnus and Pulitzer Prize-winning journalism Sara Ganim spoke to a room full of journalism students last night in the HUB Alumni Hall as part of the Foster Foreman Conference of Distinguished Writers. Ganim gained widespread attention in March 2011 when she broke the story of a grand jury investigation into Jerry Sandusky's alleged child sexual abuse, eventually becoming the third youngest Pulitzer Prize winner ever as a result of the article she wrote.

Community Help Centre To Host Benefit Concert

The Community Help Centre downtown is hosting a benefit concert at the State Theatre on Thursday November 8th. Featuring acts from house DJs Tawa & Atomisk to indie rockers Flashback Forward, the show hopes to promote the many services provided by the non-profit resource center.
