Penn State Defeats No. 3 Nebraska In Four Sets

The #4 Penn State women's volleyball team got off to a great start in the Big Ten on Wednesday night, as they defeated Nebraska 3-1 in front of a packed Rec Hall in the conference opener. This was Penn State's third win over a Top-10 opponent already this season.

Coquese Washington Signs Contract Extension

Despite a scare this spring after word got out that she had interviewed with Michigan, Penn State Lady Lions baseball coach Coquese Washington signed a 5-year contract extension through 2017. Having played basketball herself at Notre Dame, many believed she would coach there to be closer to her home in Flint, Michigan. Thankfully, though, she's here for the long haul.

Freeh Report, NCAA Sanctions Dominate Forum

For the third time in ten months, students had the opportunity to address Penn State administrators at an open Town Hall Forum. Marianne Alexander, an alumni-elected trustee, is the first trustee to attend one of these sessions. Students, and others, asked the administrators about the Freeh Report, NCAA sanctions, and the University's relationship with the Commonwealth.
