That's the image everyone left with after comedian Mike Vecchione's 8 p.m. performance at the State Theatre Friday night.

Penn State Wins Shootout Over Northwestern, 34-24

In the third quarter, Dan Persa dropped back and threw the ball, as he did 33 other times for Northwestern against Penn State. This time, however, the pass was deflected and intercepted by Gerald Hodges. Silas Redd ran for a touchdown on the next play to put Penn State up, 34-24. Neither team would score again, and Penn State improved to 7-1 overall and 4-o in the Big Ten.

Seinfeld Still on Top of the Comedy Game

Last night, with a lot of entertainment options in Happy Valley, an almost packed Eisenhower Auditorium chose legendary comedian Jerry Seinfeld. With new and old material alike, Seinfeld crafted a different show about nothing in particular and life in general, which garnered him a standing ovation.
