Saturday's rout over Eastern Michigan provided many bittersweet observations from the student section.
Penn State used an efficient passing game and strong defense to gain an easy 34-6 win over Eastern Michigan on Saturday. The strong showing for the Nittany Lions was marred by two injuries to key defensive players. Read on for the full story.

Where the Simmons Dining Hall used to be, the GLOBE Room allows students to eat, study, and relax with comfortable sitting, kitchen, and multiple TVs. To get to the there from the main entrance, make a left through the doors and turn right down the stairs. You'll notice the sign "Dining Room" on the wall by the staircase when you take your first step. Once you reach the bottom of the stairs, go straight through the doors and turn left. Cue the Monday Night Football music. No, on second thought, the Sunday Night Football theme is more ominous. Tonight, from 10:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., the Council of Commonwealth Student Governments will take on the University Park Undergraduate Association in a game of broomball that will be one of the defining moments in Penn State's history.
