Questions for JoePa, Curley, Schultz, and Spanier

We are quickly approaching Day 4 of the Jerry Sandusky scandal with no end in site. Up to this point, much information has been made available; however, there are few answers to many of the pressing questions that many of us have. Tomorrow afternoon, national media will descend upon Happy Valley for Joe Paterno's weekly press conference. Paterno will not be permitted to answer much regarding this matter since he is a witness to a serious rape trial, but there is little doubt that reporters will come prepared.

Don’t Blame Joe

Given the nature of Jerry Sandusky's alleged crimes, and just how complicit some highly-respected members of the Penn State family are said to have been, it's hard to be outraged against anything else. This is a dark day for our university, likely the darkest. There is no silver lining to what's happened. And what's far worse than the black mark that this will be against Penn State is how the alleged affair irreversibly changed the lives of so many young children. It is a tragedy of the utmost proportions.

Senior VP for Finance and Business Retires
