
Penn State's yearbook, La Vie, has documented snippets of student life in the Nittany Valley since 1889. Through its pages, we can get a brief glimpse of what life must've been like here. I was able to go through the La Vie archives and pull out a few meaningful pages that help us understand the storied history of the university.

When you think of Allen Robinson today, you think Biletnikoff Award finalist, NFL prospect, and record-breaking receiver. You'd assume that he was a blue-chip prospect swimming in scholarship offers coming out of high school, but what you might not not realize is that Robinson had to earn his success the hard way.

Ask any Penn State fan old enough to remember the 1970's who the greatest linebacker they ever saw was, and Bruce Bannon is usually one of the first answers. Although many great linebackers have come and gone since the 1972 All-American suited up for Penn State, Bannon was one of the first great products in the early days of Linebacker U. He would go on to play for two years in the NFL with the Dolphins, but he made his legacy on the gridiron here in Happy Valley. We caught up with Bannon to talk Nittany Lion football, life after leaving Happy Valley, and his playing days.

The sooner we accept that Allen Robinson will most likely not be in a Penn State uniform next year, the easier it will be to stomach. While he has yet to comment on his status for next year, the amazing season that he is having right now is reason enough to move up to the big leagues. But since there is no official word we have decided to take a look at best reasons for Robinson to stay and the best reasons for him to declare for the draft and move on.
