THON dropped somewhat of a bombshell today, drastically changing the pass system utilized by Four Diamonds Families throughout THON Weekend.
On August 4, the THON community lost Four Diamonds child Dominique Bigler as she ended her long battle with Synovial Sarcoma. Now, in the wake of their heartbreaking loss, the Bigler family is reaching out to ask for help in the planning of her funeral. They recently set up a website asking for donations to fund funeral expenses.
Early this morning, the THON community tragically lost nineteen-year-old Four Diamond's child Dominique Bigler. Dominique battled with cancer since she was diagnosed with Synovial Sarcoma at age thirteen.
THON has announced the name change of arguably the most recognizable committee during THON Weekend, Morale.
Norman Horn of Coast 2 Coast FTK began his journey in San Francisco on April 5 with the goal of walking 3,100 miles and raising $250,000 for THON. Three and a half months later, this ambitious alumnus has reached the halfway point.
DJ Larry Moore's days providing the music for THON have come to an end after more than 20 years. Starting in 2015, the Entertainment Committee will be solely responsible for the music, according to the THON blog.
