
Sleep deprivation isn't uncommon for college students, but 46 straight hours of dancing and singing is even more hardcore than any finals week cram session. The body begins to beg for a warm bed. Muscles ache. Temples throb. The effects of denying the body any rest begin to settle in. That's when many reach for the can of high grade caffeine and 8000% of daily Vitamin B intake. Dancer mail is a time for laughs and tears as dancers get things to take their minds off of their aching and tired bodies. But, one dancer received mail from his girlfriend that ailed all that cured him.

Saturday night's THON pep rally was billed as a whiteout. The whiteout failed, but not much else about the spectacle did especially the Men's Gymnastics squad who won the event, ending football's two year reign of dominance.

With less than 20 hours left, THON 2012 has certainly been an unforgettable experience for everyone involved, especially the dancers. Four dancers took a quick break from their activities to discuss what has made their weekend special so far.

When we checked in with dancers Tecce (Nittany Nation) and Ally (PSMA) this time, there was a mix of much stronger emotions than before. With exhaustion finally starting to set in, both of these OSers were using a strong support network to distract themselves and stay strong.
