The Penn State Interfraternity Council released a YouTube video tonight that features student leaders explaining how Greeks "hold themselves to a higher standard than the rest of the students at Penn State." At least, that's how IFC President Dan Florencio describes the Greek community in the opening interview.
THON is teaming up with Abolish Cancer again to raise money For The Kids. What better day for a combined effort to beat cancer than World Cancer Day?

With THON weekend only 17 days away, it's extremely rewarding to look back on the months of planning that have paved this road. This video, created by Special Events Captain DJ Broccoli, was first shown Thursday night at the Road to THON Celebration and showcases events such as Harvest Day, THON Dodgeball, the THON 5K and Family Carnival. It's time to buy your THON 2011 raffle tickets! The prizes are pretty great... a 2010 Suzuki Kizashi SE sedan, an Alumni Association tour that includes trips to London, Paris, and Rome, and a Dell laptop are all up for takes.
Tickets cost $5 and they can be purchased any weekday from 9-5 in 210 HUB (the THON office). They will also be available at merchandise sales and at most THON events. Or you can just track down the nearest Supply Logistics captain... bonus points if you spot the Onward State editor in the promo video below!

Chris Pronchik has had a full experience here at Penn State. He is a member of the Penn State men's hockey team, scoring seven goals in 23 games this year. He is also an active participant in THON. For the second straight year, Pronchik serves as a THON captain. Onward State got a chance to talk to Pronchik while he balances life in the middle of both hockey and THON season.
