Calling all graphic designers! The largest student-run music festival in the country needs a new logo and is accepting user submissions for the 2013 version this week.
The student activity fee that will fund CCSG is paid for by students at University Park and it should be governed by students at University Park or simply abolished. Penn State shot well at the beginning and defended well at the end. It was a long, ugly stretch in the middle that doomed the Nittany Lions (8-12, 0-8) as they fell to No. 14 Ohio State (15-4, 5-2) 65-51 Saturday afternoon at the Bryce Jordan Center.
The day of reckoning is over for CCSG and its controversial budget proposal. At this afternoon's meeting, the Student Activity Fee Board voted (8-3-1) to recommend a new budget for the Council of Commonwealth Student Governments, which includes the contested $14,800 from the student activity fee at University Park.
Coming off a tough road loss at Indiana on Wednesday, the Nittany Lions return home to the Bryce Jordan Center Saturday for a matchup with another ranked conference opponent -- No. 14 Ohio State. The game tips off at noon and $3 from every ticket sold will be donated to the Coaches vs. Cancer fund for "Band Together Day."
