Help Design the Movin’ On Logo

Calling all graphic designers! The largest student-run music festival in the country needs a new logo and is accepting user submissions for the 2013 version this week.

The logo will be used for t-shirts, posters, and advertising for this spring’s concert. And there’s a free t-shirt up for grabs for the winner. All applicants must be Penn State students and should email submissions to [email protected] by February 3 at 5 p.m. For an application form and more details, check out this link.

The annual Movin’ On music festival, held on April 26 this year, has already announced MGMT as its headlining artist, with many more to come.

If you’re skilled with graphic design, this is a good opportunity to get your name out there. Maybe you can win the Collegian White Out t-shirt design contest too, and be known forever as the t-shirt badass of Penn State.

Penn State’s first president Evan Pugh was born in 1828 at Jordan Bank Farm, three miles south of the city center of Oxford, Pennsylvania, an hour west of Philadelphia in Chester County. One-hundred eighty-nine years later, an Oxford brewery is honoring one of the preeminent champions of “liberal and practical” higher education in the form of a delicious Porter.
