Jemele Hill Tabbed As Second Speaker For TEDxPSU

ESPN’s Jemele Hill was named the second speaker for TEDxPSU 2015 on Thursday. Hill is one of ESPN’s most prominent personalities as the cohost of “His & Hers” on ESPN2 and a columnist for ESPN.com.

A Michigan State graduate, Hill has also been featured on programs such as First Take and Outside the Lines. Prior to her time at ESPN, Hill covered Michigan State football and basketball for the Detroit Free Press.

TEDxPSU will take place on March 1 in Schwab Auditorium. General admission tickets are free, but guaranteed ticket price packages range from $50-$750.

TEDxPSU first came to Penn State in 2010 and will celebrate its fifth event this year. The group’s mission is to bring together innovative and thought-provoking individuals from the Penn State community and the world to share ideas worth spreading. The theme of this year’s event is “Push To Start.” The event also announced that Canadian writer Bruce Grierson will speak at the event on Tuesday.
