THON 2015 Passes Halfway Mark

It’s hard to believe, but THON 2015 is already halfway done. Dancers are starting to feel the burn, but spirits are still high and their organizations are cheering them on extra hard from the stands.

The last 12 (or so) hours have seen some interesting developments. Kappa Kappa Gamma and Delta Chi had their floor passes suspended for 12 hours after someone from another organization said they were too “aggressive” in trying to obtain their seats, according to D Chi’s THON Chair. That news came after those organizations had a journey to get to their seats in the first place. We’ll keep you posted as this situation develops throughout the weekend.

Of course, the last 12 hours were accompanied by plenty of awesome news. The water polo teams are celebrating their THON child’s last chemotherapy treatmentthe grilled cheese here is delicious, and we discovered that THON has gotten the attention of even The Vatican in the past.

You know the drill: Keep it with us and follow our live blog, where we’ll have nonstop coverage of THON 2015. Enjoy the Pep Rally!
