Club Sports SO In Right Now, says NYT

The New York Times ran an article this week about the popularity of club sports teams on college campuses.

An estimated two million college students play competitive club sports compared with about 430,000 involved in athletics governed by the National Collegiate Athletic Association and the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics.

Here’s the list of club sport teams available here. Additionally, did you know you can recieve credits for participating on a club sport team? Through the Club Sports Office, you can get 1.5 kinesiology credits.

American universities produce more research and relevant knowledge for the world at large than any other institutions I know of.
