Wallypalooza Lineup Finalized

asher-roth1The spring’s second music festival finally has a lineup. The headliner is everyone’s favorite Asher Roth, the white rapper from the Philly suburb who’s background I’m sure many people can identify with. They can also probably identify with his song, “I Love College”, but you can’t be certain. The April 30th festival, starting at 6 pm on the HUB lawn will also feature Cory Gunz, a rapper who made XXL Magazine‘s “Freshman 10” list of best new artists in 2009; Scarecrow Collection, a jam band from New Jersey; and DJ Super Nova.

I’ll see you there!

P.S. And let me be the first to wish you a happy 4/20, whatever that is.

Senior Writes Final Column

Senior columns, with all their melodrama and platitudes, usually leave me eye-rolling and shaking my head with a vigor usually reserved for study abroad blog posts. But, as I graduate a week from today, I figured I should give it a go myself. Rather than discuss the origins of Onward State like Evan,  I’d just like to briefly thank a few individuals who have defined my Penn State experience.
