Prepare for Power Shift Pennsylvania

power shiftRemember Power Shift 2009? Well it’s back, and this time it’s all about Pennsylvania and happening here at Penn State.

This weekend, October 23-25, students from every corner of Pennsylvania will convene at PSU to combat climate change and fight for environmental justice.

Participants will attend workshops, presentations, planning sessions, trainings, and “an action.” Foaming the coal plant with fire extinguishers?

The Power Shifters will kick off a series of campaigns that will run for the remainder of the school year. In the words of Sam Cooke, a change is gonna come.

Check out the Facebook event and register here.

The overarching goal: abandoning dirty waste and SHIFTing into a future of clean energy.
