Less than 24 hours after the UPUA held an event promoting campus safety on the front lawn of the HUB, just blocks away three men busted into a Beaver Terrace apartment at 456 E. Beaver Avenue.

The men entered the apartment around 4:45 pm this afternoon and exited with cash and cell phones, according to the Collegian article.

The men are still at large. Maybe it was time to go canning?

American universities produce more research and relevant knowledge for the world at large than any other institutions I know of. Tuition may be too damn high, but over the long-run, undergraduate degrees are definitely worth the cost. But Penn State could be so much more. It used to be, I think.
