The fine folks over at the Student Programming Association have continued to offer non-alcoholic activities in the HUB as part of SPA LateNight for a while now. A staple of LateNight is the free movies (the best kind of movies) playing in the HUB Auditorium Thursday through Sunday nights. For those who may be on the fence about spending their zero dollars on cinema in the HUB, this new weekly segment is perfect. HUB Titles will tell you what to expect from the film and give you a better sense of who to invite along.

For those of you pulling into the grass lots around Beaver Stadium this season without prepaying for your spot, make sure to have a little extra cash on you because rates have gone up. When you buy a parking pass on game-day this year, Andrew Jackson will need a twin as prices have doubled from $20 to $40.
Fret not, though. If you pre-purchase your spot, the cost of a normal vehicle will only be $10. Find out more after the jump.
In an announcement this morning, the Homecoming 2010 Executive committee has selected Olympic speed skater Allison Baver as Grand Marshall. Baver, a Class of 2003 graduate of Penn State Berks, won the bronze medal in the 3000-meter short track relay event at the 2010 Vancouver Olympics. The Grand Marshal is the highest honor given to an alumnus as part of the Homecoming celebrations.

s many of you may know, Graham Spanier is in touch with the student body. They don't pay him the big bucks for nothing. He gets involved, and he knows what's going on. Perhaps the best tool available to him is his yearly tradition of spending move-in weekend in a freshman residence hall. By doing this, he's able to get to know some students, check up on the condition of student life, and make a good impression.
